All three versions of the 2027 MINI Cooper Convertible use a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo® four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive, with output increasing as you move through the lineup. The MINI Cooper Convertible produces 161 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, reaching 60 mph in 7.9 seconds. The MINI Cooper S Convertible increases output to 201 horsepower and 221 lb-ft, cutting that time to 6.7 seconds.

Retractable Roof
The fully automatic power soft top takes just 18 seconds to open, and you can operate it while driving at speeds up to 19 mph. You do not have to choose between completely open and closed, either. A sunroof function partially retracts the top when you want extra airflow without lowering it all the way. The MINI Convertible Wind Deflector helps reduce turbulence inside the cabin with the roof down. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel also make open-top driving more comfortable when temperatures begin to cool down.
Interior Technology
Inside the 2027 MINI Cooper Convertible, a 9.4-inch circular OLED center display serves as the hub for MINI Operating System 9, bringing vehicle settings, entertainment, navigation, and other functions into one interface that supports wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ provide smartphone integration.
